Reclaiming London Together will take place on 5 March, 9am to 5:30pm, at Stamford Bridge Stadium. Advanced registration is essential. To register for the event, please click here.

With participants including the Mayor of London, the Bishop of Southwark and Kids Company-founder, Camila Batmanghelidjh, this event will look back to last summer’s riots and consider the prospects for London’s young people. Hosted by the Fayre Share Foundation and the Faiths Forum for London, it will examine how charities, faith communities and philanthropists, can collaborate to offer more hope to future generations.

The event will promote collaboration for London’s young people following the 2011 riots.

It will take place on Monday 5th March from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm at Stamford Bridge Stadium.

Young people will play an active role in the discussions, workshops, panels and a theatre piece which look at how to prevent future disturbances. The Faiths Forum for London will mark the occasion by launching a volunteering initiative and a prize for organisations making a difference to London’s young people.

The LSE-Guardian’s ‘Reading the Riots’ project will be an active contributor to the discussions during the day, and will use the opportunity to investigate how faith communities responded to the riots and their role in the subsequent clean-up operations.
